Neat... although I have to admit I would like to see some denizens of the buffyverse show up to visit. Maybe Anya ? Faith? Willow? (Spike or Angel?) ...A Dawn who is Faith's sister, on the run from Glory? ...

Great ending for this. I enjoyed it a lot. Though ((and here is where I start to pout)) I gotta wait a whole two and a half, to three months until the next installment?!?!

And are you saying we have to wait almost three months to read the next part?!? I agree with your reasoning, even giving us time to read Book 7, and I respect your decision but dang... that's a long time to wait. I liked my regular updates, thank you very much. Maybe it's my dislike of reporters as prying, unethical, disaster-savoring parasites, but inviting Alyssa Jones to join the Order is like inviting Hitler to join a synagogue. It was even noted at the meeting the sorting hat almost put her into Slytherin due to her cunning. What better agent for the Dark Lord than a freelance investigative reporter to find out what Aurors are thinking and doing? Asking questions would be taken to be part of her job, rather than spying. Would Dumbledore really be so immediately trusting?

I'm liking the new character.. Kinda reminds me of Lois from Smallville.. Well, Lois went after the crazy stories, so maybe not.

But anyway, nice chapter. Can't wait for the next one! And then the next in the series!
