I would have liked a follow-up chapter about this unconventional pairing, but it works well as a one-shot. I also give you much credit for your characterization of Jay. I've lost count of how many stories I've read where Jay was written as a wonderful misunderstood hero who is practically a candidate for sainthood. Unlike those, you tried to show a sympathetic side to Jay while at the same time you didn't leave out his many faults and rough edges. Well done! |
