Hey Ninz, I really love this story and I’m very sad about the end. It would be the perfect episode between Showdown and Safe, a long time we never knew/saw what happened. Trying to remember I keep on my mind three events, even the whole story is fantastic.

Danny’s breakdown in his car after the night he spent with Lilly.

Martin’s thoughts at home seeing him from the window and remembering his conversation with Sam about Danny’s condition.

This end, the final embrace with Lilly, she waiting for something else and he finally letting his feelings were showed (a bit) was extremely nice and you almost feel me crying.

Great story, anyway, one of the best I’ve ever read. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing your stories with us.

I truly love your interpretation of what happened between Showdown and Safe. It seems entirely plausible and real to me. I've really enjoyed reading this fic. You didn't make many mistakes as far as I'm concerned. And I like the way you ended it. They didn't fall in love...they just needed each other. I'd love to read a sequel some day!

Well, great chapter, I love the nervous Danny and the 'conversation' in Jack's office, his hesitate and everything. I have to tell you (I think, again) you are doing a very good work here. Continue, please! I'm very curious about a possible meeting with Martin and how things will work out with Lilly. Anyway, yesterday I knew her... on TV, of course. I'd never seen Cold case before and I was curious to know 'how she was'. ;-)

This was all so unexpected: their hookup, Danny's cold reaction afterward, and his breakdown. It was like he'd been numb since Martin was shot and the moment he felt something felt something real (his night with Lilly), the flood gates opened and finally allowed him to feel everything. So well done. Great job.
