AndromedaAiken 2009-07-29 . chapter 1Excellent job! Interesting way of testing for good kissing skills! ;) I wonder if it could be done in real life. To answer your question, though probably alot of people have, Aussie kids have their summer vacation at the end of the year when it's winter in the US. :) |
qt4good 2009-07-12 . chapter 1Loved it! But did he mean "A" in the American/Canadian/British way of handing out grades where A is the best, or in the wizarding way where an "O" is Outstanding (best mark), E is "Exceeds expectations, and "A" is just acceptable? |
Sweetheart in the corner 2008-08-08 . chapter 1so are you trying to say that if you can't tie a cherry stem with your toungue your not a good kisser? I think your wrong about that. xD |
Bethany Egan 2008-07-18 . chapter 1 I like your story :D. Very Cute.
I'm from Australia, and yes, all our seasons are the opposite of yours. However, there are parts of Australia which are warm all year round, so the author may have been going to somewhere like Northern Queensland, where you can swim comfortably at the beach even in the middle of winter. This could've been during our winter holidays. We get a couple of weeks off then, and then 6 weeks to 2 months for summer. But if they said it was the summer holidays then I have no idea... |
Quafflepunchers 2008-07-02 . chapter 1HA. Oh, that was HILARIOUS. "A for Effort." Ahahaha :P I guess Cho Chang's good for something other than making out with Harry Potter. Although, seriously, pebbles in her pumpkin juice? I've never heard of anybody doing that before...

MysteriousMagicalMuse 2007-12-01 . chapter 1Hehehe I loved it. It was very well written and very orginal.Top story |
amortentiaaa 2007-09-24 . chapter 1 Btw, an E would make more sense in their terms, since Exceeds Expectations is higher than Acceptable. :P |
amortentiaaa 2007-09-24 . chapter 1Hahahahaha, LOVE THIS! Brilliant. Poor Cho ‘I-put-pebbles-in-my-pumpkin-juice-to-get-my-daily-dose-of-minerals’ Chang. |
Hinemoa 2007-07-02 . chapter 1 December, January and February = Summer
March, April and May = Autumn (Fall)
June, July and August = Winter
September, October and November = Spring
The main holidays are in Summer but no one calls them summer vacation its normally just called the Christmas holidays.
It's the same over most of the southern hemisphere (i think)
Cute story |

wandless2 2007-01-08 . chapter 1Erm, if you ever read this...
When it's your Winter in Australia it's Summer over here. So when you have Autumn/Fall it's our Spring. Etc. Because you're in the Northern Hemisphere and we're in the Southern Hemisphere. We have our main long holidays during our Summer, so over Christmas and New Years. But you guys get, what, 3 months Summer hols? We get less than two. I don't know why. |
McDreaming 2007-01-08 . chapter 1Heya, thanks for the review, it was really nice :)

Err, yeah, we do think americans have accents but we dont hear them as much as we are kinda used to them lol, you know through TV and whatnot lol sometimes they are quite strong lol
You would probably hate my accent anyway, it is very strong (really, the way i say five is very very weird lol) and a mix of about six types (through my parents and where i live
Mocks are baiscally where you do old exam papers, in exam conditions, so you know what sort of questions your likely to get asked in the real exam! (Which is on thursday! aah!)
Good luck at uni!
