This is so sad...I really wish that Misa hadn't poured her heart and soul into someone who only used her as a pawn.

Even sadder is the fact that Misa knows that she's being used, but continues to deludes herself. She's one of the most tragic characters in DN, in my opinion.

Anyway, congratulations on another great job. You write Misa really well, and your characterizations of her and Light are superb.

Rowan: I don't quite get the title, but I really like this. Fills in a little of that time gap that was briefly (like, in three pages) mentioned in the manga. And, I like Light/Misa, so this was nice, for Misa's sake.

Gah, this is just beautiful. *favs* You really capture the relationship between Light and Misa... that first section was just heartbreaking in the way that Light wasn't even paying attention, and Misa knew he wasn't paying attention, and just... I really love this fic.

Wonderful ending, too. ^^
