Excellent story all around. LOVED it.

Love the different POV's you have running through the chapters. All excellent.

ROTFL... Okay, so it's 2 a.m. here and I can't go to bed because I'm laughing my head off at this story and it's only Ch. 2! Gah. This is fantastic. Worth every minute of sleep I lose.

LMAO! I'm only on Ch. 1, but I'm loving this so much I had to leave a review now rather than wait for the end. This is awesome! I love Sheppard's voice in this... sardonic, **, at points sappy and slightly medicated. Ha!

You have completely made-up science and I love it.

I'm also endlessly amused by the Ancient Insanity Virus (Carson will not rest in his quest to destroy the PURPLE!) and I loved the part where John and Carson each attempt to console Rodney when he has to part from George: Carson tells him he can visit, while John assures him that they'll just sneak him back again right away.

I liked Carson's perspective in this last story and found him very sympathetic. And of course he ends up liking George as well in the end. Who couldn't love a giant hundred-legged turtle with huge claws and nasty pointy teeth? Well, I suppose Kolya wouldn't. George would tear him to shreds.

"He was sick so I had to send him to the mermaids" is now one of my favorite explanations of all time.

It might well be because the page contains the word "turtle" in it, but at the bottom of my browser as I'm reading this I've got a little ad for - which, if it *is* a coincidence, is possibly the most awesome thing ever.

I'm a big fan of George! Anything that likes Rodney and has the ability to take down a strike force is all right in my book. Plus he purrs!

And incidentally, thanks for all the Rodney-whump and friendship in these stories. They bring me joy.

Loved this story! Loved George and his trailing along after Rodney, protecting him like a faithful dog and purring like one of Rodney's much-missed cats.

Well congratulations on creating such an awesome creature as George! I loved him, the giant, many-legged turtle with claws he may have been - he still grew on me. :D Gotta love the turtle!

I liked how you brought it all together with the crazy Ancient; it was a nice touch, with a nice plot. Heh, insanity was a nice change for once, especially from Rodney. It would only figure, coming from the scientist. I also liked Carson's pov. It seemed very accurate of him.

Excellent writing! John telling Rodney his idea was insane at best, was just priceless, considering that John should take his own advice. Same with the turtle conspiracy of taking over the Puddlejumper. :D I enjoyed it, and I look forward to more of your stories!

Lovely story. Are you sure this is the end of George? Maybe if you write some other stories he could have a cameo role?? I really enjoyed this series and think that after all Rodney has done he deserves to have a pet, even if it is a monster turtle named George, at least he's not asking to keep Sam the Whale. Look forward to more of your writing.
