I should have read the warnings more closely. Your story is well written and well plotted, but I had a hard time dealing with the ending. Not only the physical abuse (a spiked paddle--you don't do anything half-way), but the emotional wrenching. Why bother kissing Harry at all?

That, no bullshitting, is the best one shot of harry potter i've ever read. it seriously mad me want to cry and just..i have no words except well done.
