this story explained exactly why, in the end, why i hated dumbledore was because how much he was a hypocrite in canon.

he preached 'unity' but encouraged all the Houses, especially Gryffindor, to isolate and hate the Slytherins. this of course, placed Slytherins in an environment that was poisonous because there was no antidote - their HoH was more concerned about his social life and the Headmaster was too knee-deep to in his own prejudice to care. dumbledore in short, created the perfect environment for future DEs.

he encouraged bullying by excusing them as 'harmless pranks' and did nothing to stop it. there's no way in a school full of ghosts and moving and talking portraits that he didn't know what was going on between the marauders and severus.

dumbedore was in short - dumb. i'm glad that you offed him in this story.

Chilling and yet the Marauders deserved what they got and so did Dumbledore for not protecting Severus from them. Severus is so Slytherin in the story and I confess I loved it! I'm on his side.

Wow! Yes, Severus was clever as always, but he was evil here and you done a remarkable work in describing his character! He make me proud, too! And I find another reason for loving him! ;P

How he got the aconite from dumbles? In the beginning dumbles shakes Snape, and about halfway through he moves away. Plenty time.

How he knew? Legillimency.

How did he kill himslelf? He flexes his wrist when dumbles hit him, that's when he hid the aconite. When he tugged at his shirt he got a needle.

Easy, if you know what to look for. I love your story. I always thought Black should be thrown out after attempted murder. Can't honestly blame Remus, though. He neither knew nor was in the right state of mind. Pettigrew is a filthy rat and got what was coming to him, and James did save Snape from the grave.

FINALLY Dumbledore faces the consequences of his own actions, his inaction in protecting Severus and other non-Gryffindor students. Sounds like Harry Potter hasn't been born, so now Dumbles has to figure out what to do with Voldemort - another Slytherin that Dumbles failed. Thank you for writing!

Let's see: one dead for his only son to grow up neglected and emotionally abused, another in the *pleasant* company of dementors for more than a decade, another living shunned, ostracized and in poverty with frequent guiilt trips and finally the last one a coward and a rat. Feels so much better that way...
