| Shannon 2006-11-02 ch 7, anon. | abuseI hate it when authors blame Harry for the animosity between him and Snape. He is not 'understanding' enough about Snape' horrible childhood. I don't care how bad your childhood is, it is no excuse for abusing children (and, whether you want to admit it or not, Snape is verbally abusive to his students and Harry more than anyone else). So Harry is not being a "wanker". His anger and his dislike of Snape are completely justfied. Now, I agree that any attempt at a better relationship between the two will have to start with Harry, simply because he is a kinder and more tolerant person than Snape, but the poor relationship they have is completely Snape's fault. |
