Well I feel silly that I just now finished your story. Not even sure if you will get this but I'm posting nonetheless. Must admit that I always passed on reading as I thought that Shep turns into a werewolf. What a fool I've been. Thanks to some people on the Shep Whump GW thread - I decided to read it this past weekend and I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed it. Yes it was excellent Shep Whump but even more it was a beautifully crafted and imaginative story. Shep's humor, dedication and heroic nature are captured to perfection and I loved Maj so much. Her attraction to Shep and his to her was so heartfelt. The monsters and creatures were original and well presented. Love Maj's riis... possibly because it had a soft spot for Sheppy but he was a cute little alien being. The story was a great rollercoaster ride and I had a blast at every twist and turn so thanks for writing it!

This is an awesome story!! I think it's one of the best, most touching, fics I've ever read. Of course, all the whumping and adventure stuff didn't go amiss either, and I especially enjoyed the John/Wraith part in in the ruins and then outside of them, and John's fights with the Wraith Hell Hound. You did an amazing job in describing the different point of views, and the slow recovery scenes were just as well done as the fast-paced action sequences. All in all a very well rounded-off story that had me near tears at the end, at John and Maj's reunion. One thing I've been wondering, though...how exactly do you pronounce 'Maj'? Oh, yeah, the names, that was another thing you pulled off well. The names of the Iothians were different enough not to sound earthly, but also not too weird. I can actually imagine people, somewhere, being called these names.
So, lastly, thanks once again, for another superb story. I really don't know why it took me so long to check out your older stories...but it's well worth it...your stories list is a veritable treasure trove!

well, I just finished this for the 6th time, so might as well finally add a comment. No idea if you still monitor this, but this story rocks! I love every bit of it, the Shep whump is fantastic, Maj definetly one of my all time fav OC and I thought you nailed the characters to a tee! Love your other stories too! I sure hope you continue to write Shep whump! *happy sigh*

This was a wonderful fic. Full of whumpy goodness, great character insights, delightful original characters and scary monsters. I can't believe it took me so long to get to read it and then RL kept getting in the way of finishing it. It is one of those stories that I think about even when not reading it.

Maj is fantastic. I have now put her in my canon reality for SGA and John will visit her often.

Loved it. This is a great story. Of course, you put that much work into writing something that long, it's gotta be good. It's good to see a soft side of Sheppard sometimes as well as the soldier.

This veiled threat issued by Larum has turned out to be exactly what I figured it would be...a mess for Sheppard, personally.

This was a great story! It was so long that it was just like reading a book (and it took just as long - lol)The whummpage factor was definitely scoring highly but it all worked in the story very well. A shame the team weren't on their usual 'find John' radar but they made up for it in the end. I found this a very good read and would recomend it to anyone who likes their Sheppard 'hurt and horizontal!'

That was such a nice story. The colonel and his stubborn heroism down to the bone. I wouldn't mind meeting Maj and Ris at a market somewhere in the galaxy :)
