Pretty please finish this fic! *gets down on knees and presses her forehead to the ground* I begging you. This is one of the best Shino/Hinata stories (the first one is also very good) I've ever read, and I have been hunting them voraciously. I've also thoroughly enjoyed looking at your deviant art gallery and all your imagined Aburames. I love the way you put so much thought into the family and I am planning on reading Aburame Ichizoku (sp?) and it's sequel as soon as I have time to be absorbed in it properly.

I know Shino has eyes in the anime; they are shown in one episode, in one scene, briefly. I almost wish they'd never shown them, it is much more fun to imagine what he might be hiding.

I am planning to write a Shino/Hinata fic of my own, a sidestory to my only posted fic "Desert Flower". You might check it out (though no Shino in the first part of it, the sequel and of course the side story will feature him and the rest of the Konoha 11 rather a lot). I'd love to hear what an accomplished Naruto fiction writer like yourself thinks of my humble efforts that resulted in very odd little story the sequel to which is growing out of control in my mind. *laughs*

Okay, that was a shameless self plug. I really do hope you finish this story. I can't wait to see how everything works out: Will they marry? Will Hiashi get over himself? Will they give in to temptation before they marry? Will Hinata get pregnant? How is she going to feel about her child's byakugan being lost in favor of the kikaichu? The questions are eating me alive! At least I hope it's just the questions...*checks herself for chakra eating bugs* Yep! Just the suspense, no kikai buggies here. Thank you for spreading the Shino/Hina love and for writing about Shino at all. He's such a neglected character. *sigh* *huggles Shino* Shino needs love!

This is one of the most enjoyable ShinoxHinata stories I've ever laid eyes on! There seems to be a horrible lack of stories with this pairing, and I thank you very much for making an addition to it! This chapter was nice and sweet, I really liked the tone you added to this, SHINO AND HINATA FOREVER! Please continue on with this story... ITS SO GOD. Wish you luck with your future chapters and stories by the way! I hope the writer's block will clear up!

I've read this story and "Filling in the Emptiness", and I really liked them. It's hard to find good Shino/Hinata stories.

Even though Shino and Hinata are only around 16-17, I found myself wondering if the two clans could've come up with a compromise. The first child they had (if they got married) was a Hyuuga, and kept their Byakugan, and the second child they'd have would be an Aburame, and get the kikaichu bugs when they were a kid. Granted, I haven't read the rest of your Aburame clan stories, so I don't know if you've come up with more of their traditions and customs, and it absolutely has to be every child gets the kikaichu bugs.

I do like what you did with the Aburame eyes. My personal theory had been that the bugs could swarm inside their eyes, and not destroy them completely, but I could see the kikaichu serving as replacement eyes. A rather creepy mental image, but it fits with the clan. *nod*

I hope the writer's block clears up, but considering this hasn't been touched in years, I can understand if the well's dried up. Still, it's a neat story. :D
