First and foremost, I liked the story a great deal. Secondly, however, I'd like to remark that it could have been a great more detailed and comprehensive. Good premise, but not enough detail. However, I do like it, don't worry, it's really quite well written. The lack of egregious spelling and grammar errors made it quite enjoyable, as well as the content.

I think it's actually good you haven't read much Remus/Sirius before--it helps you (gen you, not you you) from falling into one of those cliche fics that just seem to breed in a fandom as huge as the Harry Potter one. ^_^

Anyway, I liked it very, very much. Especially Tonks decking Remus for not thinking of HER as someone being there for him.

I also liked the way you portrayed Remus's feelings after Sirius's death. It's bad, yet not so devastating he'd die of it--just one of the many burdens fate throws his way (though admittedly a worse blow than most).
