2009-11-21 . chapter 33
I think that this story is interesting and you are right about writing that every element has is good points and bad points like a earthquake can cause everything in the area to collapse, fire can burn people whether it is natural or man-made, ice water in cold climate can cause people to freeze up and die, light can blinded people especially if you look at the sun it can really hurt your eyes, water can drown people, wind when you consider hurricanes can devastate a certain area, thunder can strike trees and shock people, wood on a tree can kill a person if it every falls, and I really cannot think about a back quality about steel though but my point is that most fictions portray dark creature and people who practice dark magic as being evil despite the fact that all of these other elements can cause harm as well. While it is true that some darkness is evil not all of it is and I have actually saw some other fiction that portray darkness as being a neutral force meaning not necessarily considered evil.
There is something wrong with Kouji in this story and his is so narrow-minded and egoistic even more so then on the show. Kouji would know if someone would look like him but then again he is supposedly brainwashed but what I read in the story they seem to be talk like normal people but then again I did see a show where the people talk normal but was being controlled and there is also the fact that his Kouji's comrades know that Kouichi was identical to him. Kouji also really has nothing to be mad about at all or take revenge just because someone talk about what their own father did and I am not said that Kousei is not a good father but he actually did lie. This Kouji and Kouichi's family unresolved drama story has to be the worse to be the worse type of family issue that I have encountered in the Digimon franchises. I do not mind back story like this, but as long as they are resolved by the end of a series I will not criticize it. In my opinion that Kouji in this story is very dense to think that Ophanimon is his mother since a Digital angel cannot breed with humans. Now if she was a reality angle maybe I can understand that. Even twins in some moves who have been separate at birth and run into their long lost identical twin notice that the person in front of them looks identical to them. Even an evil twin would know that a person look identical to them. Do not get me wrong I am not criticizing your story I am just talking about Kouji's behavior in the story.

I just love this story so far. It's amazing and well written. You put all the characters into a new light. Chaiki, Katsuharu, Teppei, and Teuro know are more than the two-episode characters. I love how you put the relationships with their opposites is more than those in the anime. Like for Zoe and Chaiki/Ranamon, it isn't a cat fight but a fight for reaching for someone who she did wrong. It's just amazing. I can't wait to read more of it but if it takes you a while, it'll take you a while. I just hope this story is eventually finished. :)

A long wait but it was worth it, despite this chapter being shorter than your previous ones. This chapter is an intense read that can even drive your fans, like Koji, into the brick of insanity and madness. It creates anger and shock in the reader's heart as it leads them down a darker road into the fold of the story. Koji's viciousness and malicious behavior blinded him to see the deeper love that still lingers in both the hearts of his and his twin. Although Ophanimon's spell and cruel love had drilled its power into his heart, I find it chilling that it can even corrupted that small, yet strong glow of love in Koji's heart...but I wonder, can her cruel love tells what he really feels in his heart? Because no matter what, you can't hate or love someone just because someone else tells you to. Love is something that you feel naturally for someone in your heart. Love is magic, the most powerful and beautiful magic of all.
Here as I read, I find this story of yours more chilling and more exciting as ever. Truthfully, I had...I still hoped that Koichi can still love his brother, despite the situations that they're in and that he alone or together, can break Ophanimon's hold on his twin and his friends because I still believe that the kind of love that Ophanimon wishes to suppress on the Digital World isn't the same and not as strong nor as magical and beautiful as the love and bond shared between brothers and among friends. And now, my greatest fear is that you'll never update the next chapter and will forget this story, leaving us hanging on a cliff forever. I pray that in the future, I can read more chapters of this particular fanfic and that it can be finished.

I was afraid that you had forgotten about this story and had left all of us hanging forever. This chapter is a glimmer of hope for me that you have still decided to give it life.
Although this chapter is perhaps the shortest and has the fastest plotline, it was a quite en enjoyable read. When Kouji called Ophanimon "Mother", it kinda reminded me of that film, "Coraline" or such. And I love the way you portrayed Kouichi's faintness as though he's a broken record. Things are getting tense, I can feel it.
Once again, thanks for the update. It was an extremely long wait but it was worth it. I hoped that things with be sorted out between the twins and that Kouichi can make his brother see that their real mother isn't one who would ordered them to kill each other because that's what mother don't do.

Awesome! I have been patiently waiting for your update and it does not disappoint!

Poor Koji being brainwashed to call Ophanimon mother! And now they've got Lucemon to deal with! Can things get any worse?

This is quite possibly the most amazing Digimon fanfic ever.

...Scratch the "quite possibly". And you get even MORE bonus points for Koichi-ness.

Okay I'm only on chapter six but really hope that Loewemon and JagerLoewemon has a part in this because I really do not like Duskmon or Velgemon.

2008-12-10 . chapter 32
A fun chapter that lifts the previously moodier one. Teppei's ordeal seems to reminded me of Aang's trials in Omashu against King Bumi's tests. After all, they both taught their pulpils something.
I am relieved to find that Chiaki and Koichi had made up from their fight. Hopefully, they can get back on track and follow their path to bring peace and resolve all the conflicts and hatred that they shared with Ophanimon's Warriors. And I hoped that Teruo is abled to regain his Spirits. I feel as though he is a liability without them for far too long.
In addition, I do find that your portrayal of the Daimyo as a ShogenGekomon was surprising and yet not surprising at the same time. The way you portrayed him reminded me of a guru or a wise old man of the village, but at the same time, with a bit of humor. A good example would be Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings. (Yet, I kept imagining your Daimyo's ShogunGekomon with white beard and a cane.)
Teppei's battle with Orochimon was hitch. It lightens up my dark mood this week even further. I have to say, that the humor from cutting his heads and burying him under rubbles drew the line of Greek mythology there. If I didn't know any better, I could have sworn that that scene is a parellel to Hercules' labor against the Hydra. The only difference is that the Hydra has nine heads instead of eight.
Yes, I think I did catched that Power Ranger reference in this chapter. I'm not fond of it, but I must admit that the Frontier season is too similar to that version.
I am looking forward to your next chapter as always I have these past few months reading this story.
I fully hoped that you'll be able to finish this story instead of letting us hanging forever. I do enjoy this story very much. And good luck on your next one.

2008-12-08 . chapter 31
This chapter is by all mean, a nice touch. I usually give longer reviews, but this is one of my exceptions. I felt as though the Digital World has lost its color and it has become more solemn and bleak. There is sadness in the air that I sense, even though it is only fictional. It has been a while since any authors' work has touched me so deeply that I am able to feel the sadness of the land and the suffering of the world. The last time that happened was probably, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. It's good that you're able to do this and that I'm actually surprised.
As the Digital World is loosing its beauty and color more and more each day, and as both sides are suffering from bitterness and hatred, I think that only love and forgiveness can heal the wounds for both sides and then the Digital World. I hoped that Ophanimon's Warriors and our heroes can learn that lesson.

2008-11-26 . chapter 30
This chapter is very deep and revealing. Full of malice, despair, longing, betrayal, hatred, love, fealty...it's all packed into three battles that will make the readers' head spins if they can't keep up. I especially liked Kazemon and Ranamon's battles the best because it has more feelings and power in it. I'm surprised that you would used Kazemon's Tornado Kick attack. She doesn't named it in the dubbed version but it's there all right. It does seems more appropriate for her to use it instead of Love Tap, under the circumstances of her fury.
I enjoy reading this chapter very much and it pulled me in too deep that I actually skipped lunch just to finish reading it. I loved all the tensions that you put into these battles. As I read, I feel like I'm one of the characters herself and am feeling bitterness and hatred toward the other girl.
I do hoped that Teruo could get his Spirits back soon and will be able to control them next time. And I feel that Koji's pain can perhaps only be cured by Koichi...not Ophanimon. She doesn't understand that relationship that Koichi felt towards his brother, nor that longing of acceptance and love. Like I said, if you have that ability to love someone or something, then you don't desire power and if you desire power, then you can't learn to love. Ophanimon's desire for power as a god clouded over her ability to love life and peace.
The ending is very unexpected. I feel as though things are able to get a bit tougher for our heroes.

2008-11-23 . chapter 29
A turn of surprise from you once again that rocked me to my core. I'd never realized that you would considered betrayal in your story, least of all of Chiaki to be the one to do it. This chapter is filled with excitement and exhilaration. The betrayal seen from both points of view from Chiaki's former friends and new allies is so absorbing, that it will be difficult for readers to stop reading and turn off the screen. May it be the fealty in the hearts of those so close and of those yet so far be shattered and mended.
You haven't failed to surprised me or any of your readers with turning of events and scenarios that blew us away. You are truly an unreadable author whom never failed to surprised us with every twist and turns in your story. It makes me happier and grateful that I have found a story like this. Powerful, riveting, absorbing, exciting, and full of passion and malice, these OCs characters, you have brought them more to life than ever. If I didn't know any better, I'd say I would have dubbed you as Prometheus, the Greek god who had shaped man himself. You have shaped these characters in whole new varieties unimaginable.
If really, I wondered about Ophanimon. She's wanting to set herself as a god of the Digital World, yet she is the Protector of Life and Love. I can see that she desire power but doesn't find that what she's doing is evil but right. I don't think that Ophanimon is really Life and Love for those who love does not desire power and those who who desire power do not love at all.

2008-11-17 . chapter 28
This is a really somber chapter. The most sad one of them all so far. It's dark and it leaves the readers feel empty and nothing. A really good effect. I'm really surprise. Not many author can do that. If it is one thing I've learned, it's that writing stories that leaves powerful impact on the readers is hard. You, by all, so far, have left us hanging, on our knees and begging you for more. You've managed to make us see the light and the dark in all of the characters' heart. You've managed to get us to see that Ophanimon'a Warriors aren't that evil and bad...only lost their ways...you've left us laughing through Teppei's jokes and brighten up our days with the heroes' adventures...and you even managed to make us feel sad about the heroes' and villains' past and regrets. But this is the first time, that you've managed to make us...to make me feel somber and down with this chapter...I'm not saying that it's bad but it's good in a way. I can feel Teruo's pain and his friends' pain...I feel the other Warriors' feelings and their ordeal...
This is truly a talent that you have...but i guess you couldn't have done this without your friends' help.
I hoped that things will look better and turn out better for our heroes...and our villains, too. Hopefully, they can convert Ophanimon, ban together in harmony and peace and defeat Lucemon and his Royal Knights...but I guess that won't be for a while.
Please update soon when you get the chance and free time. I know, I'm in college, too, and I know how busy it can get.

2008-11-13 . chapter 27
An amazing turning point of an event. The entire ordeal just absorbed my interest. The murderous intent on Koichi from Koji was a huge kick and a big surprise. Shocking, yes, as it was something out of the blue and seems very unlikely. Once again, you've managed to capture my attention and rock me to my core.
After everything they've been through, Takuya and his friends were able to see some facts about their mistakes. Learn to admit their mistakes and accept the facts about them all is their only way to see through Ophanimon's treachery.
Although, you've notified us, the readers, that Ophanimon is the evil overlord, or lady, she doesn't seem as evil as one might think of her. But then again, when you're evil, you don't see yourself that way. Ophanimon doesn't believe that what she's doing is wrong but right and so does her Warriors. I know that her Warriors are being clouded by hatred. Their minds are agitated especially Koji. Letting his mind clear, and the shocking truth will revealed to be one of the greatest gift that he'll ever received...his brother.
I am shocked that Teruo's lost his Spirits...but hopefully...he can regain them again and hopefully, Koichi will find a way to be with his brother peacefully.
