2009-11-01 . chapter 1
this is an excellent story. I love stories about the twins. but I am new to the elves. what does Mellon Nin mean? and Hannon lle? where in Tolkiens books are the stories about the elves?

one note and I hope I'm not nit picking here

"His fingers worked idly through the horses main"

in this instance Main the way you spelled it means primary like the main idea in a story
Horses hair is spelled Mane

Homonyms trip me up too.

(especially in hidden picture games. try looking for a metal electric fan and passing up a paper chinese fan for ten minutes then kicking yourself when you see it! )

You definitely left yourself open to a sequel... Rael's father is likely going to want revenge himself...

I do wish that you'd shown Arwen and Elrohir getting back to Elrond and telling him what happened--and part of me wonders what kind of talk Elrond and Glorfindel had with Elladan afterwards, about making correct judgments about telling an adult about an abusive person.

Anyway, it was an exciting story and I liked how you had the twins have different personalities. Too many people make them into clones. And in your Arwen, I could see the grown up elleth she would become... a little spitfire, she is! :)

Good job!

Perhaps it not the ending I wanted, but I understand when you say your interests have changed. At least you finished it, and I'm glad I'm able to read it. :)

2007-04-06 . chapter 14
Can feel Elrond is a bit 'tired' - I mean, even a best healer, a Lord of Rivendell, it's not easy to be a father, especially when it's your children you're worrying about.

Elrohir will tell the true tale, I believe, but Elladan's condition seems grave - his lips are still blue!

What'll be the punishment for Rael, and even his father?

I like that Elrohir can share Elladan's reason for not telling the parents, and sharing the fear. This is good to show how good and close they will be in the future - share and protect each other.
