Ooh... this gave me shivers. "Something about him terrifies me," and then, "He's what I want to be." Spectacular! I really like the imagery of the undrawn sword. And the idea that he does things that no one else thinks, or dares, or cares enough to do.

I found this line actually chilling: "He's like a sword". I guess the whole image of a sword--the bright, hard, glinting silver, the edge so sharp it can be measured in microns, the ear-twanging ring when it's clashed against another--brought Kenshin into such sudden, sharp focus that I was not prepared for it, and it brought me up short.

I love that kind of thing.

Excellent. I've been very into Yahiko fics recently, and this 100 word fic is perfect for who Yahiko is and how he feels about Kenshin. I like the feeling of his inner dialogue.

The relationship between Kenshin and Yahiko is something I feel is very underplayed in fanfiction. This fic captures perfectly the beginnings of it--great job.

OH! You captured Yahiko very well in this story! I can just see him thinking that! Awesome!
