Very good one-shot story and while I can't believe anyone would be so cruel to Kim I think the way you had Kim and Ron be there for each other was very nicely written.
The way you ended it with them doing the "I love you" so silently in sign language was a very nice touch.
I look forward to seeing more stories from you if you continue to write so emotionally charged like this. :)
