Yes, yes, yes, it's delightful. There's so much I could say about the perversity of movie writing today that I will only say this: it's so disheartening when a scriptwriter creates a wonderful character and then doesn't have a clue what to do with him. It's so disheartening when the idiots who can afford to make films disregard real history, which in the end is so much more thrilling than anything they've ever invented. It's so disheartening when one points out to one's friends the horrible inaccuracies in historical films and it's all brushed off with "it's just a movie." Now I'm going to shut up. Maybe I'll e-mail you later with more coherent thoughts.
