great work i think you did a great job combining to two novels down with Angle i always hated that guy. Nice to see him getting what he deserves

Having enjoyed The Loyal Daughter so much, I decided to take a look at some of your other stories. Besides adoring Holmes, I agree that Angel Clare is one of the most loathsome individuals in English literature. Pity you couldn't hang him. Splendid story!

Marianne - I love this story! Nice to see someone being kind to poor Tess like that. Damn, now I have to re-read 'Tess' again! Different idea, and it's unusual to see Hardy-based fic. Wouldn't mind reading more of a similar genre... but then you know I enjoy what you write anyway!

An absolute wonder. You've managed to take a book (Tess) that I absolutely loath and create something enjoyable. I must say that I much prefer the image of a more pragmatic Tess living to curse carol singers to Hardy's original insipid, prissy to the point of neuroses, creature.
Bravo for the reference to the Ruskin divorce case (Your viewpoints intrigue me, and I shall be sure to pass them off as my own in the near future *g*)
You have an outstanding eye for period detail and description, and should be applauded for recreating the Darch sisters so well.
I can honestly say that this was better than many published pastiches I have read, it really was very, very, good.
