ok im really lazy so i wasnt going to leave a comment on any chapters but i read how you wanted an acual review so yah i worked up the arm muscle. this is a really good fanfic not only is it well writen its a good plot(and to me thats surprising with this cuple) i dont normaly like shikachoji but this seems promising so yah i might work up a new obsession (narusasu gets really old) but yah i feel like im about to start ranting and this is just a review, but whatever keep up the good work and i hope this makes up for the old 'this story is really good's. ;)

Actually I thought the ending was just fine. A bit of a surprise with the whole Naruto Kiba thing, but if you can do it, more power to you. Although I really did enjoy it, and you did make the comment of OOCness, bear with me. It doesn't seem that Shikamaru would be all that concerned about keeping their relationship a secret, although he'd never be the shouting from the roof-tops guy, he probably wouldn’t care. I suppose it will all depend on whereyou choose to focus the story. So far you've stuck mostly to the relationship on a personal level, maybe it is best not to have any public plot lines.
Perhaps later on it may make an interesting bit to have Chouji and Shika argue about something, or have opposing views on something trivial, like games or food. Maybe in that you could exercise the reason why they fit so well together, how they cherish each other as not only lovers but as friends, that they’re differences make life all interesting.
Sorry guess I'm just throwing ideas and crap out there hoping they'll help you update. Oh well, great story, I look forward to the next chapter.

In general, I loved the way you've written your story. The characterizations are cute and almost spot-on, the dialogue is great, and the way you gave us some insight of Shikamaru's inner turmoil upon being confessed to was awesome.

But if there's one thing I have to say about what I didn't like too much was how fast things have progressed (between the two of them and the story itself)! It would've been nice to have a chapter of relationship buildup between Chouji & Shikamaru before they made out like they did in Chap. 3, as well as a little bit of time before they were discovered by Kiba and Naruto.

Anyway, great work so far and I hope you'll come back soon to continue, I'd love to see how you'll continue!
