Rustie73 2006-09-04 . chapter 1I suppose Pie is right. Without him, Race wouldn’t have had a way out of his marriage, Spot and Race wouldn’t be together, and we wouldn’t have had a happy ending.
I understand that Race was also having an affair (albeit for a much shorter time), but it doesn’t seem quite the same. Race wasn’t looking to get lucky. Spot made a move for Race.
Caroline seemed to be the one who made the move for Pie. A few cosmos and she was shtupping the guy and giving him her cell number.
Pie was innocent, I tell you. Innocent!
She seduced him with her killer rack and the “My husband doesn’t appreciate me stories.”
Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, I have to say that I’m not thrilled with Pie saying that he doesn’t want to raise another man’s children. (Spot is more than willing to raise Races kids.) And how the hell can that woman be so quick to give up her children?
On a lighter note, I’m glad that Pie finally got the girl. Even if it is Caroline.
"So Racetrack got his man, his house, and his kids, and I got my nose broken. But at least I got the girl."
Great story and a great look at Pie’s POV. |
