I love how you've portrayed their relationship, it's beautiful. The tension inherent in the last few sentences of this piece was fully tangible. Awesome.

Aww, that was a lovely, sweet story. You scared me at the beginning there, though. Not explaining at first who the 'she' was who had died. Because one automatically links Tonks with Remus. But it was good. Short and sweet.

I liked the smooth changes in mood when I read this originally, and it's just as good on a re-read. It's such a barely noticeable transition from the start where he feels useless, to a haven where there's humour and he's safe, to the end where there's forboding of what is to come and the reader appreciates how hopeless and useless he will feel again. Lovely rhythm throughout. Anyone ever said there's a poetic quality to your writing?

And Tonks seducing Remus to Celestina? Obviously the Weird Sisters don't write lyrics about cauldron stirring. ;)

Lovely story. It's nice to be reminded that a war is going on, that the stakes are getting higher as more and more people are killed. The first section was quite moving, and the reader can sense how powerless Remus feels. Then there's a nice transition to his safe harbor, the place where he can smile, and the person with whom he actually feels like smiling. And even though there are undercurrents of the war throughout this story, the last line was still surprising and a shock. Well done!

Lovely images, from start to finish, culminating with the highly amusing one of Remus stripping to A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love. Because we all know it's one great innuendo.

This was really good. It was sorta sad that that was their last night. You should maybe do a sequel? Well good job and God Bless.
