I know you posted this ages ago, but I was going backward through the archives and it caught my eye. I am so friggin glad I did. This was awesome! I haven't really ever thought about how a bird could be his best friend (but now, it does seem a little bit odd; ya know, just a little).

It was beautifully written, and I hope you have more like it.

Aww...it was so sad when Horus died and I felt so bad for Ardeth! What a great story! Hope you'll write more stories from his perspective, it was really well done.

That was a well written piece of work! It got under Ardeth's skin a little, exposed a sliver of his loneliness. Quite sweet, and nicely done. BQ is looking forward to reading more you have done.

That was so sweet! My thoughts when Horus was shot was "Oh no! Not his pet bird!" Of course, I'm the kind of person who cries during Bambi and Ol'Yeller, so my reaction isn't so surprising...But still, Ardeth looked so pitiful...
