It's odd that they've almost turned it into a game, seeing who can be forced to submit first now that Zelgadis has a chance in hell of winning that battle. Seems to me that the sex is a part of the plot.

A chapter in which Zel has finally some time to reflect on the situation.
The meeting with Zelas is superb, especially clever the form in which are suggested experiences that do not belong exactly to the Material World.
It seems that Zelas has decided to clarify the whole thing. Her opening move has been elegant, suggestively dangerous and pretty intimidating, very in the style of a mazoku lord. I wonder if it has been also the checkmate, because in order to produce an interesting amount of shōki, it is not necessary to suffer a lamentable loss: it's enough with fearing it.
It seems that, with just a single and fluid movement, Zelas has sown deeper (or maybe only nourished) a promising seed in the feelings of the chimera...

Though I'm kind of curious about how much time has passed since Zelgadiss saw Xelloss last time. You wrote that Zelgadiss hadn't slept much for a long time, but not how long that had been (a week? a month? two?)

Amazing-- I liked the novelty of the first 2 chapters, cleverly blending in ideas from Inu Yasha, but you really upped your game with the new chapters. It's probably the only bit of fiction I've ever seen where Xellos and Zelgadis are evenly matched, believably in character, fighting each other all-out, and it's incredibly hot. You're probably one of the best authors out there for finding credible ways for Zelgadis to turn the tables on Xellos (but not turning them completely, because that would get boring, and your stories are NEVER boring).

Was definitely worth the wait, hope you don't make us wait quite as long for the next chapter though! *Grin*
