Yeah, it's completely different. Something I never no is rewrite beginnings. I probably should but once something is down I tend to keep it and just twiddle with it a bit if I don't much like it.

I must commend you, most writers I know would sooner scrape their eyes out with a blunt spoon than critisize their own work. And you have managed to make this humorous, but not childish; a thin line that way too many 'authors' seem to blur. All in all I am VERY impressed with this and I eagerly await an update.

Ah, I got this on alerts last week and only just found time to read it! Wish I'd read it earlier, now... it's hilarious! How you sum up all the cliches in about three words for half of the characters. I think this has to be my favourite one -

"James: I died, lol." (giggles)

I don't think its quite as bad as it seems you do.
