I read this story FOREVER ago, but forgot to favorite it. I've been searching for it for the past two weeks, and I finally found it! THANK YOU! Such a great story. Not much good Barbossa hurt/comfort out there.

Characters IN character, always appreciated. Vivid storytelling, including the little quirks that make fanfic so enjoyable (loved Hector's stories, all the character's styles very IC).

Usually I don't read Sparrabeth, and I've never even read a JamesxTia story... But you, mate, have made my exception. This is one of the best POTC fics I've ever read - It's such a simple concept, one wouldn't even think of it, but you thought of it anyway and made a bloody good job of it.

Upon re-watching the 3rd film in DVD format, I was instantly gripped with a need to re-visit your most awesome work. Your writing is a shining example of what fan fiction can be when it aspires to be grand. I burned a day of intensive Net searching to find you and am very happy to have done so!

This story in particular rocks my world with how fantastically written it is. Not only do you write like a dream, but you also have played out the universe into a story that I find immensely agreeable. You take great characters and make them even better! Your Elizabeth & Sparrow works so well together and I love that you continue to tie in Barbossa and Norrington (I'm a big James fan and your writing of him is my favorite so far)

I read your whole story in one sitting. I couldn't stop. I love the idea of these four as friends and allies because each one of these characters is so brilliant.
And the ending, oh man. How you brought in everyone to help. Brilliant. Just brilliant. It was an awesome story :)
