I love Wilson but it was his behaviour in both the previous seasons and this episode that made me almost pleased to see him end up burned by Tritter. Wilson has a habit of undermining House and his pain and that, largely, is why House behaves the way he does.

What I love about this story is that Cuddy, as always, is just trying to do what's best for House but she's willing to admit she's wrong. Something Wilson needs to learn to do.

Loved it! I completely agree with you on the conclusion of Meaning - it was a WTF moment for me!

I too was very disappointed with Wilson telling Cuddy not to tell House that his treatment worked. Will have to see what Cameron does with the info. next week--can't wait for Tuesday.

That was an excelent story! Ever since Meaning, I've been waiting impatiently for the next episode to see if Cameron snitches to House or not... Man! I want the next episode to come already! Excellent story though

i have to point out that for the other two seasons, House actually had some medical basis for his diagonoses, but he had none this time, it was a wild guess. Besides, he's still taking Vicoden, so he's obviously not going to be thinking that clearly. Taking drugs for an actual medical condition is different than taking them just because you're addicted.

Wow! I was so unhappy with Wilson in "Meaning". But I LOVE what you've done with the ending. House made excellent points in the episode and your story. Angsty perfection!

I'm with you, Eleanor. I could sort of see Wilson's reasoning, but at the same time you *are* wondering where they have been for the last couple of years and why is humility such an important lesson for House to learn now? Maybe they couldn't handle him being brilliant *and* compassionate. Or something. It was . . . weird.

If the scene you portrayed (or something like it) actually plays out on the show, it would be a good thing in my opinion. Great job!
