I like how you left so much to our imaginations, like that part with Mina having to stay away because she was too busy fighting. What would have happened if she'd come back earlier? That might be good for a companion piece. Or you could do Mina's POV. Just a suggestion!

Holy cow! This was amazing! I know you were afraid that not writing for so long would have dulled your skills, but it obviously didn't. If anything, you've gotten better. I loved the way you wrote this--if words can be elegant, yours were. I was breathless with awe even before I'd finished the first paragraph, and it only got better!

Loved what you did with the characters, too. You have a knack for writing what can only be described as hopeful angst. We all know you don't do unhappy endings, but the pathos in this was so powerful that I was doubly affected when she came back and everything worked out. You're incredible!

This is very good. It reminds me so much of a couple other great writers - style-wise. Old writers. Stuff you don't see anymore. It's very different from your previous pieces that I've read, but equal in quality. A truly impressive piece.

You don't give any places, dates, or fashions, so I had trouble getting rid of the image of this being placed in the 20's. Maybe it was the writing style you used. But it FIT so perfectly. After all, we have no proof that they hadn't had other lives before the Negaverse rose to power again.

I loved this one shot. I think your time off has helped rather than hindered.

Amazing. There are no other words to describe this story. I think it's perfect as a one-shot, but I wouldn't mind a full-length story, just because I love your writing.

Brilliant! You always have such a talent with words, and I loved how in spite of all the angst you still gave this a happy ending. Write more, please! I think you can make this one shot into a full story!

Wow. Well the years away certainly have not dulled your instincts one little bit, I can tell you that much. You write as beautifully, as eloquently as you ever have.

This is such a great one shot. I find it difficult sometimes to write the male POV but your Malachite is nicely fleshed out, with intriguing thought processes and actions that keep the reader engaged.

I thought perhaps it was really AU and that they weren't Malachite the general and Mina the senshi, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that aspect.

And I totally bought into Mina's reasoning for what she did to him. It blended well with what we know of her character, and added another layer of appeal to the fic.

It's such a joy to see new work from you. It reads well as always, and leaves me wanting more.
