Subtle and effective, this oneshot packs a lot of emotion into a simple subject matter. The protrayal of Tifa and Cloud's relationship is sincere and honest, with no added sickly sweetness or OOC romance. The gentle notion of her taking his hand is very Tifa like- a small gesture signfying for her the world. It was more on Friendship, as opposed to romance which is a refreshing change.

Very nicely written and a perceptive, yet clean take on the characters. I had to squint to see the SephCloud though, but I guess his surly drunken state and soft voice was a hint that his feelings for Sephy delved deeper then he let on, or wasn't just all black hate.

Very nice, a realistic portrayal of Cloud and Tifa's relationship. I like the way you show how he's haunted by the past. Sad and sweet. Good job!

I'll have to admit I'm not a fan of Tifa and when I saw 'TifaCloud' I nearly didn't read it. I'm very glad I clicked on the link though because this was a very good read. I like that it was more Tifa being a friend than anything. Your reasoning for Cloud being brought back also makes complete sense. So essentially, this is one of the better stories with Tifa I've read. I'm not sure if you've got this as a one shot or not, but either way it was great!
