Interesting. So did Jack really die or not? It seems like it could go either way. He either escaped and went back for Norrington, or it was a symbol of Norrington finally giving in to what Jack predicted. Either way, I liked this little oneshot.

Shwo! This was good. I've also had thoughts about the similarities between Jack (a pirate) and Norrington (a commador) and there are quite a few similarities. I hope you continue writing stories like this.

I like the concept that Norrington doesn't just slip effortlessly back into his position. There would just have to be some inner conflict. I have a horrible suspicion that he's going to end up dead in AWE...which would displease me. Extremely.
