This is beautiful. I'm a sucker for brotherhood stories. I have a problem with accepting Alluka, but I love the way you wrote Illumi and Kil. The last chapter was just adorable.

And wow...I'm impressed by what you said you were going to write next. I mean, a story about Silva and Kikyou? And the other idea about making Gon and the gang the examiners? Genius. I'm glad we still have creative minds in this fandom. Personally, I prefer the second idea. But it's your choice! I think I'm going to like whatever you write based on this story.

This was really good! I'm glad I found your story. The beginnings were sweet, funny, and adorable at the same time. Sadly it had to end so bittersweetly. I see your point of making Alluka dead, however, and that was it. I've never even thought about 'the failure' to turn Illumi into a heartless, robotic man. What an idea!

But still, Zoldyecks will always be Zoldyecks. Your work got me all mellow but flattered at the same time, I don't know why. But that was a good thing, though! :'D

Can you write a sequel, with what would have happened in the hunter exam if Illumi was like this instead of just being evil?

Illumi and Alluka were characterized completely differently from in the show, but not 'out of character' at all, which is such a relief. They seemed to be just two really well written OCs... Anyway, I really liked your fic. Off to check out the others... in a few days, maybe.
