Sweet, though I think Aeryn's characterisation is a little off; not sure I can see her seeming quite so reliant on him comforting her, even if that might be what she needs and wants. Maybe it would be interesting to take the same scenario and give us more of what is going on inside the characters' heads: this is a fic, not an episode. In the show, we can 'see' emotion as represented by the actors; in a fiction, the responsibility is on you as the narrator to convey that emotion not just through what the characters say to each other, but *how* they say it. Including how the characters relate physically (facial expressions, where they sit, etc) is part of that, but their mental processes are also important
