Well...wow. I have been Reading this over time, picking it up whenever I can and hating abanadoning it when I'm called away for another job. But, slowly, I have eaten my way through it.

Thank you for an incredible read. I thoroughly enjoyed it - especially the resolution and realisation of friendship. I admit to struggling with Sheppard's behaviour initially, and actually considered for a while if his character as a little OOC. However, your resolution of the story certainly accounted for the 'understandble' emotions and the way you wrote Sheppard's own 'realisation' of his behaviour was excellent.

what a great story! I enjoyed reading this a lot! The caracters were...well in caracter. I thought the dialogue were very Stargate Atlantis...as I read and hear their real voices in my head it's always a good sign! :) The indepth caracterization was also very good, very credible. Good work!

rodney can't truly be considering staying on earth away from everyone? honestly, when you brought sheppard back and those two together again...it was just so right. the opportunity to eat chocolate and pretend to be normal isn't worth losing the people most important to you.

mckay still did come up with the answer though, even if he had trouble getting out in the end. he could have stayed on atlantis, if there still is one standing. hopefully the rest have come to their senses?

rodney did seem to adjust a little too easily. it's kinda OOC, really. after all, he did leave people behind, family even. and he became a different person on atlantis. to just sit around in a university and teach, do a little research on the side with no real resources? please. it reeks of denial, though it might help him survive, i suppose.

of course he still has to save their asses when they can't. they don't care about his disability now, do they? self-serving hypocrites. i think you overestimate zelenka though. from the show, he is smart, but rodney's still on a different level.
