So, in a nutshell, in THIS timeline Danny never told ANYBODY about his half-ghost status apart from Jazz, and, as a result, he came under an ever-increasing amount of stress until he finally snapped from the strain of trying to prevent a bunch of ghosts from attacking Earth after he actually managed to KILL Pariah Dark?
The situation sucks, but I can see how it came about; without anybody to really share his secret with and help him keep everything in his two lives balanced, it's only natural that Danny would...
Well, 'snap', to put it bluntly.
Admittedly, I'm a bit uncertain about why Danny had to KILL Pariah Dark in this reality when he only needed to stick him back in that Sarcohpagus of Forever Sleep in the show, but without anybody to really confide in as a human I suppose it's possible that his more vicious ghost instincts were... enhanced, for lack of a better term..., thus allowing him access to more powers and rendering him more capable of doing damage to Pariah (Or something along those lines; you get what I mean, right?)
So, I suppose the obvious question is where things go from here (Another case where I really hope you're planning on continuing; you just keep on churning out some EXCELLENT pieces of work in this genre, don't you?). Personally, judging by the fact that Danny briefly 'regained control' over Phantom when confronted by Sam's fear in the last chapter, I'm hopeful that she and Jazz will manage to get through to Danny before it's too late, but something tells me it's not going to be that simple...
After all, we're talking about insanity caused by two years' accumulated stress triggered by the apparent rejection of the girl he loves; it's going to take something PRETTY drastic to take care of that (After all, look at Firefury Amahira's 'Benediction'; Team Phantom had to split Dark Danny into Phantom and Plasmius with the Ghost Catcher and talk to them both separately just to get the future version to a point where he DIDN'T want to brutally maim and murder everybody, and even then he still had some issues).
Well, hope you're just suffering from writer's block; I am DEFINITELY going to enjoy seeing how this one goes from here!
