Wow... I feel so bad for him. And none of the teachers will even attempt to stop people from harassing him. Just because Bella was stupid enough to go charging into a situation blindly like a Gryffindor... I feel sorry for the poor kid.

This story was better than the first part and you have left me begging for more.
I can't wait to see what will happen now with Antares.
And what is going on with Voldemort? Better I wait and see, but I'm not the most patient person in the world.
And Dumbledore, I think I hate him. Why does he have to be so mistrustful? Will it change when Antares true parents are known?
I hope so if only for Antares.
I guess I'm off to the third part.
I can hardly wait!

Your writing is good quality, and you write romance like an adult, unlike the other 99% of Harry Potter fans. But there's something about your writing style that gets on my nerves. It's kind of brisk, grating and irritating, like Snape's mind voice, I imagine, and given that I can't stand Snape...

Antares is a girl name. I can't get used to it meaning Harry - I cringe every time I read it.

Ooh, I liked reading from Rita’s perspective. She’s so wonderfully awful. And I can’t believe that Lucius actually got thrown out! I’m happy about, but I can’t believe it! Haha.

Man, I can’t believe it’s finished! I enjoyed this story so, so much. I couldn’t really have pictured a story where I’d actually have sympathy with Bellatrix but you did it. Part of why it’s so great is because it’s still her, you know? She can still be hateful and cold and cruel, but she’s also a mother to Antares, a real one, and we have to love her for it.

Having all the pieces come together in the final scene at the trial was nice too—getting to see all of Antares’s struggle and everything.

Aww, I’m gonna miss this story! I loved reading how the pieces of the plot fit and how the different circumstances of your alternate universe changed the characters’ reactions. Best of all, though, was reading Bella and Antares interact, it was just one of the strongest dynamics of the story. Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us, I loved it.

I don't know what happened, but I never got an alert for this chapter. Anyway, excellent as always. I did love it. Hope you continue on after the uproar of DH settles down. I have a feeling stories that are already quite AU may be easier to continue than those that were trying to stick close to canon.

An amazing piece of work, full of drama, tension, and suspense throughout the entire story. I have to say that this is one of the best pieces of Harry Potter fanfiction out there. The way that you end it was particularly artful, where the perspective is not from that of a participant of the activities of the story, but a sideline character reporting it to the world. It is especially well done in the fact that you conveyed the message that the emotions rampant during the trial was apparent even to the apathetic bystander that they would feel sympathy for Antares.

Never read a better trial scene in HP fandom. Guess never will, either!
