This is such a great portrayal of them both. I love it. Nicely done.

In particular, I think the way you had Sam detail her feelings from before they met all the way to the present, and showed the relationship they'd built without knowing it, was really good. It was just the analytical approach she would actually take.

best line: “You don’t think I could tell any of that to Jack, do you? Because, yes, probably I admire him as a leader, and yes, I trust him, but there’s no comparison, Daniel, none.”

I love your stories. This one was wonderful. I really like 'A Lonly Lady' as well. It's one of my favorites.

Good writing though. It's just that it felt a little rushed, which, ok, is understandable. To be honest, I doubt whether Daniel would propose to her so soon... and I think you could have got at least another chapter out of the story.

But lovely ending. Loved the banter between them - it flowed very nicely.

I don't usually write reviews, but in one of your chapters you lamented as to why so many people were reading your story, but not very many were reviewing.

As one of those people I had to let you know that this is one of my favorite Sam/Daniel stories. You held true to both characters and the emotions were believable and mature.

I cannot speak for everyone who reads fanfiction without reviewing what they read, but I can tell you why I hesitite to do so. I LOVE to read. I read just about anything. I am NOT a writer. I am in awe of anyone who has the talent of writing. I do not feel that I'm in any position to review anyone's writing.

From now on, though, I think I will at least give a review to say thank you for writing the story.

Same self-sacrificing and self-effacing Daniel. You know, Sam needs to just shut him up and show him how much he means to her. I like the way things are developing, even though Danny-boy needs to be hit over the head with an ancient relic or tablet.

Great, finally they really talk. I'm sorry that there's only one more chapter. I would like your stories to go somewhat farther than "only" to a happy ending and then that's it.

I understand your frustration about not getting reviews. If I can, I try to review each chapter of almost each story I read, because I know how hard writing is sometimes.
