Definetly my favorite. Somehow it reminds me of A Walk to Remember. I cried freely for half an hour. It's amazing how much emotion you capture in your one page oneshots.

This one was great too. I love that slight twist of her dying, damn Galby!

You just keep getting better, don't you? The scenario was very realistic, IMO. I always wondered if that was why CP arranged for Eragon to be her successor at the end of Eldest - because she's going to try something like this in Book 3. I like the way this one is so concise and blunt - there are too many flowery fics littered with purple prose, which really just defeats the purpose. In the case of this fic, being blunt and to the point works well because it brings out the emotions of the characters better.

As for Galbatorix's tear, I think watching M and N triggered some memory in him, not necessarily of a woman he loved (because that would be sappy) but perhaps of a better time in his life, when he had his dragon, friends, and just people to love him. I think he knew nobody would ever willingly do for him what Nasuada just did for Murtagh.

Terribly sad. Why did you kill her? Wah!
