A very nice, Very sad and very beautiful story that introduces a interesting new mutant character. She reminds me a little bit of Jono/Chamber in that she dosen't/can't talk but communicates via telepathy.

Wow.

That was awesome. So well-written (I kind of like the short paragraphs) and so moving. Mary Jo is definitely a good character -- you really must do more with her! And the funky spelling of her mutant name Psylence might seem cliched at first until you realise -- the P is "silent"! :) Clever!

Seriously, I really hope to see more stories about this character in the future! Good job!
