Olan makes me suspicious...probably for good reason. I thought the phone conversation bit was really cute though, I heart Al. Lovely update, I'm now very excited to see how everything fits together for this current story arc!

Olan confuses me sometimes! When he first appeared he had me thinking he might get it on with Winry, but in this chapter he somehow seems to fancy Anna's pants off, but then again, that's probably only because of his interest in her, Gabbie, and the government. And then there's the fact that Anna's practically engaged (!!) and she and Alphonse make a perfect couple-so why am I even thinking of an Anna/Olan relationship? It's not possible. Would be cute, but not possible. For many reasons. It's just because I love Olan so much; he's bloody brilliant! Can't wait for some Olan/Winry interaction :P (if there will ever be any romantic interaction between them).

Well, I hope you're happy. I just stayed up all night, reading 82 chapters so I could catch up on your ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC STORY! ^_^ I actually found this ages ago, but with real life and very sporadic internet access, I hadn't been able to get past 30. Aside from a few spelling errors, (and I assure you that it's not the nitpicky color/colour thing) this is very well-written, with believable characters, and beautifully depicted emotional scenes. I've giggled, gotten chills, and became teary-eyed throughout the story. You should be very proud.

That was scary of Ed! I would be put off and insulted for a second, because that was definitely a 180 degree turn of personality. Is he bipolar? xD Nice Gabbie and Ed moments in there, I definitely find Ed too arrogant for his own good (and you don't even get the opportunity to prove him wrong - it's that exasperating) and Al is as much a sweetheart as he ever was. I'm looking forward to whenever your next updates are.

By the way, how long is this supposed to pan out? I'm wondering if there's any more action :) So, thanks for this update!

I feel sorry for the recruts. Sad little people. I personally wouldn't have signed up for the military, but I suppose that people want to do that.If I were in Gabbriella's shoes, I'd be quaking. Ed's cool and all but he scares me when he's mad and he's not even in the room with me!
It's a nice chapter and I'm kind of enjoying the fact that in a small way, Roy just got his favorite toy taken away from him. I pity that nurse though.

I still feel very sorry for the recruits, but now I at least think they have a good teacher.

Sorry I can't sign, at work (aw I'm telling...) anyway I liked how such a dick Edward became with the student; and I mean that in a good way. I often find that Edward would be very strict as a teacher, just like Izumi. I also liked how he didn't like Gabriella butting in her two-sence. Men are like that, especially ones like our quirky edward. And I love you Alphonse! You are so sweet, yet understinding!

I love this chapter! I especially love the new secretaries because Roy is going to HATE them! I also like that Ed isn't being mean to the recruits just because he can be - it's tough love for a reason. It's good that Gabby sees all sides of him too.
