Absolutely delightful! Incredibly sweet. The thought of Anakin asking Luke what he wanted for his birthday brought on the warm fuzzies.

I also liked the characterization of Han. Dead-on. He always knows just what to say to push what buttons--and I agree with the last line. If there was ever a good time for him to be wrong, this was it.

This is a beautiful oneshot! I liked it immensely. You were very true to character, I thought, particularly Anakin/Vader's. Well done. This is perfect as is, but I think there's lots of material for a larger companion story that could prove very interesting.
