I object! I don't get why you all make such a big fuss over the fact that Aragorn kissed Boromir on the head. The thing is that, since they were the two men, they kind of understood each other better than anyone else and became friends. The kiss in question was both respectful and appropriate. Just think about it this way: Aragorn should have been glad to see Boromir die. Now there's one less person in his way to being king of Gondor. But Aragorn is sad that Boromir is dead and is paying his respects to the deceased.

For a story made out of boredom you sure made a funny one. I look forward to your next chapters

Let's see, we got...The 8th's parantage; Gimli and Lavender's bet (I believe we agreed on three, Gimli); the Tall Blonde Guy with Funky Helmet Who is Obviously the Leader; "I’ve noticed that all men try to impress each other when they meet, but this particular meeting goes a bit farther than that. They’re all acting like pompous asses."; and Bill the Pony makes a reappreance...; "Are you sure you’re done laughing? You’re not drunk are you? Do you want me to drive?"; crickets and the narrator...making a lot of enemies there, my friend; and Aragorn and The 8th almost falling off a galloping horse. *laughs*
