Hm. It is rather odd that Harry is just forced into taking care of Draco like that. Your "explanation" for it was very, very thin. It would have been much better to have had McGonagall persuade him to do it after much protestation and reluctance on Harry's part. Harry's hero complex and respect for McGonagall would have seen him accede to her request.

Also Harry is only 17 in this story. Why would anyone force him to do this? Again, given that he is the only one who Draco responds, he might have done it given what I've said above. And as he is 17, an adult wizard, he could just refuse.

Finally on this point, Harry's education is just going to be thrown to the wind? Excused from classes for as long as it takes.

On another point, I assume that Voldemort was the person in the manor and the whole thing is a set up to get Harry.

On the whole, if you had approached it in a more realistic manner, I think this story would have worked.

I loved this fic... I was so surprised when Narcissa and Sirius were two of the personalities. THis was a great fic and you put it together very well.

I liked that, up until the end. it was just... too fast. i would have expected sirius at least to want to stick around for a while and talk to harry. it wasn't like he would hurt draco by staying.

i have a question though: why were they all blacks besides abaraxas? if it was a black thing, why was abaraxas there, and if it wasn't, why were there no others identified as malfoys?

The Sirius bit made me both sad and happy XD how confusing.

I did have a little feeling that the events at the platform would have gone wrong :P but that was a very interesting way of doing it... I wander who the fake Ron and Hermione are?

Ah, well, the ending was very lovely :) despite how sad the rest of the chapter was!! (Although you described everything very well, I felt really tense and sad through the whole thing.)

So we finally find out... finally! (It's not that you're dragging it out, I'm just impatient XD)
