Cute story!! It actually reminded me of 2 coins my father carried. He was also prior Navy but these coins as best I remember were from an organization he belonged to. Now I wonder if they ever had coin checks? To bad he has passed on and I can't ask now, but thanks for the memory of playing with his coins as he got ready to go out. He carried they everywhere except work in the local coal tipple.

I like this one. Very rarely do authors bring in Roy and Chet's military backgrounds. I'd like to see a bit more of these kinds of stories.
