Just to say in advance, this is not a flame post. I enjoyed the story very much. I just want to point out some minor grammatical errors the computer didn't pick up.

"In the mist of it all, Roy had happened..."

Here, it would be "midst". It's a totally understandable mistake, since the computer wouldn't pick up a properly spelled word as a grammatical errors. It's good to pay careful attention to stuff like that, as in this case the human eye is better than a computer.

I would like to reiterate, though, that I did really enjoy this story very much. It's very beautifully written.

I also love how Roy *notices* things and does what he can for Ed's happiness. You portrayed that very well. And the tie-in with "Family"...I think Lina mentioned to me that you were asking about using her characters...x3 *glomp* Wonderful job, Nana. And I'm glad to see you posting. .

My only comment would be that you should put some sort of line sperating the author's notes and the story itself.
