I was shocked too, when I got to the more recent chapters 'OMG SO THEY'RE ALMOST THE LAST ONES NOW?!?!?!' And I love the Earl and Noah family too ^^ For yaoi pairings I like KandaAllen, but for het I'll like RhodeAllen =P I liked her hug. Her most memerable line (Depending on your translating group)

'Warm, am I not? Is this not what it feels like, to touch another human being?'

This little fic had a very melancholy and elegant feel to it. Great great descriptions both emotionally and physically. It also doesn't hurt to have subtle Kanda/Allen-ness in it. ;D
