Seriously now, I very much like what you are doing with Halle and Mello. God knows it´s almost impossible to write them the "right" way.


I certainly would enjoy some more interaction between them.

Poor Halle, no one can deny that she has her work cut out for her. And poor Mello for being put in a situation that makes him cringe. He needs it sometimes though.

It's rare that you read a good Halle/Mello story, but you've pulled it off very nicely. Making characters IC is also a moot point, and you did that well, also. Plus I like the storyline you've given them here. Mello's attitude of gruff, violetn bluntness contrasts sharply against Halle's slightly softer personality. ^^ Opposites are good.

The cutest bit was probably when Mello was a bit unsure of what Halle was doing when she kissed him, as if he had no clue of romantic interactions at all. ^^

Not that there´s anything wrong with them- quite the contrary. They are the best I´ve read in a while. I´m not sure how to put it exactly, but you somehow manage to drew a person in, even if said person doesn´t like DEATHNOTE...hmm...you manage to combine fractions of romance, but at the same time so much more. The way you manage to capture Mellos fears, or Halles...it´s just pure genious.


I can only say that I never would have imagined Mello and Halle to be such a "great" couple to write about.

Whoa! This is the first Mello/Halle fic I've read, and it's brilliant! Both of them are so shockingly IC. Incredibly well-written, psychological story!

Yay! Well, I think it's slight HallexMello...and I think they're a cute couple...well...cute being a rather bad word for it...more like, they seem like to have the same temperament...

Not sure if it is HallexMello.. It borders more on sisterly love. But who cares? It's Halle and Mello interaction! There should be more of those! I think they would make a great pairing, and been thinking like this ever since I saw the scene where Mello comes to her apartment. I don't know why, but I considered that very important. Probably because she had just gotten out of the shower, hehe. Anyway, awesome story, you kept both of them in-character, and the mood was perfect, really! And the ending rocks!

Ah~! ^.^ That was so cute, I've loved this pairing ever since the part where Mello was in her home all smexy leather and guns, and Halle just calmly took her shower... -_- Well, I think you portrayed this VERY well. I'd love to see more! ^o^

if it was HallexMello, it's probably one-sided; it's hard to figure out. that aside, you did a good job of portraying Mello. :D he's my favorite death note character partly because i have a crush on him and you did him justice. *thumbs up* good job also with Halle. i don't like Halle that much because the fangirl side of me sees her as an enemy but you somehow you made me like her in your fic. cool. o.O
