Really great so far, can't wait for the next chapter. Excellent portrayal of characters! I particularly like Shadow's use of serious terminology-very expected of him. Love it!

A very well written chapter!

The detail really captured Shadow's character and his feelings for the blue hedgehog and it helps that you have a great use of words which captures Shadow even better since it's assumed that he had some form of education from Gerald and that he's more serious than Sonic (can't be proven, but assumed).

It also helps that you didn't make any mistakes, so good job on that too.

But wait, I need to complain only slightly. Sonic and Shadow had their minor OOC moments. Shadow's use of "Faker" was rather OOC since they had already accepted each other has equals at the end of SA2 (the term wasn't even used in Sonic Heroes, Shadow The Hedgehog, or Sonic Battle to further prove the OOC). Also, there minor chase and wrestling match was OOC for them, as I think they're mature (Sonic not as much as Shadow). Still, Shadow's "And it's only your windpipe!" made me chuckle.

Anyways, well done, I really enjoyed this chapter, I'll put this on my Favorite Stories list and Story Alert.
