I never thought that Goofy/Aerith would work but, wow, you made it work. Beautiful.

I don't know how you managed it, but this fic was mind-numbingly beautiful. I heard about it on livejournal and decided 'Hey, couldn't hurt to read it,' and on a whim, well, read it.
I don't think a piece of writing (any writing, fanfiction or other) has ever made me so blithely happy. I know I'm going to walking around with a smile on my face for the rest of the day. Thank for that.

That was a really sweet story. Down to the ending it just kept me reading and reading and reading because you made this work. You didn't push it, the pairing didn't impose itself on me, it just came, slowly but surely, this friendship-maybelove-sortalove-kisslove transition was just BEAUTIFUL.

Usually I don't read KH fics at all. At. All. Because of the sheer fact that I grew up with Disney and Mickey and Minnie and Goofy and etc. (WHY IS DISNEY THERE? WTH IS WITH THESE PEOPLE?) and I can't fathom the sudden gelling of this awesome and FF awesome into something as strange as KH. It's just weird. But this fic really made me believe this pairing, believe that KH works. So thank you, thank you so much.

Um, okay, WOW. This made me squeal.

Goofy's my favorite Disney character (and as a Disney fanatic, that means a lot), so when I got linked to this I thought I would check it out, not expecting much except maybe a good chortle (because, yeah, as much as I love seeing Goofy being bashful/crushing, I don't ever ship him with anyone)...and man, you went above and beyond the call of duty by not only making this unlikely pairing work, but really SOAR. I would've never thought of it, and now that I do, the two characters together, as friends or in a simple, innocent relationship makes so much sense to me now.

I just love the narrative of this story. It's not easy to describe Goofy's simple-yet-insightful thought process and yet I thought you nailed it. I love how it's not all out mainstream romance but rather affection in its most pure form. The best romances start primarily as friendships, and I love the way you wrote theirs. But most of all I love that Aerith pursued him in the end! So, so sweet!

Oh WOW. You know I was looking for the tag making this humor/parody because, you know, it's goofy. ANd he's not supposed to be in serious things, let alone pairings.

But wow. I mean, you gave him angst and made his disney background not a disney background, and well. It makes sense though, Aerith is Aerith and she can't help being wonderful so even Goofy is going to fall in love and yeah this was just great.

"I can chose the color?"

"Golly. Purple i gues"

When I saw "Goofy x Aerith" in the summary my jaw dropped.

And after actually reading the fic, my jaw dropped AGAIN.

I didn't think that a pairing like this could actually work but it DID! It did and, dammit, it was incredible.
