I've never got around to finishing Champloo, and I'm not sure if I even like fuugen, but that was awesome. You described Mugen so well, and Fuu was her usual difficult self, and it was bloody and borken and beautiful. (And oddly romantic, too.) Wonderful job.

great job. it was a definite twist, i thought. instead of fuu crying for mugen, it's mugen crying for fuu. i love the las part, where he grabs her hand in his. so sweet.

I loved the perspective you used on this, it made it an amazing read. It was interesting seeing Mugen in this light, "…and suddenly he’s so blaringly, horribly, vulnerably nineteen." that line just blew me away! Great work!
