This fic...has got to be the best one out there in a total of all aspects. It's got a bit of every genre in it. Well written, gives detail and doesn't repeat anything 50 times. I say PERFECT! i'm addicted to it, now. Cant wait for the next chapter. *grins*

Knowing there was a new chapter of this has been driving me crazy but uni come first.

I'm so glad Zoro's found Luffy. Well it was more like Luffy revealing himself. I just hope there's not going to be some terrible twist like it's really a west winger with shapeshifting powers.

I found Shanks and Sanji's scene very interesting. I had never thought about the comparison between Homecoming Hill and Bermuda Triangle but I'm sure you're going to use this in some interesting way that I can't even begin to imagine.

I really want to see what happens next. Homecoming Hill...is some kind of entity..I think I might know what it is but I am not sure its the right guess.

Excelent story, I can't wait to find out what the entity is that is Homecoming Hill. It does sound like a gateway to another demension(sp). Or even some gateway to hell itself.

I really like this story and I like your other story 'Rumble' too. It's been a while since I read this so I forgot some stuff but you're a really awesome author. I can't wait for the next chapter but most of all I like how you can a building up of Zoro and Luffy's relationship, instead of some auhors (myself included) who just magically put them in love. Gasp. I think I found a new writing role model.

I dont know I was really hoping we were`nt just leaving off this story with noe end, which seems to be happening to this fandom and then bam, first day back from a con and there are 2 new chapters... I`m a very happy camper ^^

well seeing as its late im going to make this short...
1. im here im reading and loving every minute of it. The story as you`ve no doubt heard is complety unique, its a new twist to the characters we love, changing them into somethng a littlemore real... yeah their everlastings but they feel like real people dispite that... which also makes this a little bit eiry...

2. im kinda weirded out by Luffy, yeah it Luffy his actions make sence but I keep feeling like somethings weird like its not really Luffy its actually a trick by crocodile... Luffy just seems so lifeless (ignore that pun) i mean he`s using lots of energy and focus but he`s missing a little bit of spark that is part of his character (meaning in your story not as in the manga) something just seems off to me but i think its intentional...

which leads me to 3. I cant figure out whos winning... its suspenceful exiting and going to increase my sleep deprevation until like 5 chapters from now when maybe this bit is resolved... ^.^

I`m both exited and scared to see what not near done yet mean but I`m looking forward to it and Id LOVE to hear about that book publishing thing you had, es its a bit diffretn then how you`r writing it here but Id love to read the story if thats still on track I was really exited but then we didnt hear from ouy^^;
oh well hope things turn out well and I cant wait for you next chapter

I think I might need to reread some of the earlier chapters...^^ I absolutely love this chapter, it's really great!! Lots of mystery, I like that! I can't wait for the next (especially if it finally has some answers^^)!

Just one quick comment from skimming this chapter (I'll read it again later!) There are no quotation marks at all, and it makes reading a dialogue-heavy story like this really hard.

I'm glad Luffy was finally found-- and with Croc still missing, you pulled yet another twist. I love how unpredictable this story is for me. Sanji and Shanks' conversation was really well written, I like how you touched on Sanji's heroic nature and his thoughts on how there are probably other places around like Homecoming Hill (a possibility which gave me a shudder, both because it's creepy and also exciting! I can almost imagine it now, Zoro and Sanji going around solving supernatural mysteries like the Winchester brothers. Ahaha)

Anyway, thanks for writing and sharing! I hope things are coming along smoothly for your original fiction as well as your fanfiction. And as your writing for Homecoming Hill is so awesome, I'll be sure to check out your actual book when the time comes. After all this time I was wondering where you were. I got a update alert for RUMBLE! and this. I'm glad you see you back.

So what Luffy suffered was emotional truama and when that happened the rocks stopped glowing. I have I theory.

I think Luffy is more connected to the Hill then other Everlastings. Its food source but also its main life source. With how it feeds off pain and suffering I think maybe love can defeat it. And with Luffy being as emotional he is, maybe Luffy got close to someone, or the Hill saw his emotional ways as a current or future threat. And the Hill attacked someone Luffy was close to or knew and made it look like it was Luffy's fault. The Hill gets major boosts of power from Luffy's extra suffering from emotionally closing himself off, and prevents a future threat at the same time.

The rocks stopping when whatever happened to Luffy happned, and now glowing again shortly after Zoro's arrival and Luffy befriending him is my reasons for my theory. But I don't know what to fully think of the rocks just yet.
