abuseThat was an unexpected pleasure. Fanfics that deal with Sara's childhood all too often devolve into melodrama, but this revealed just enough to set the scene. The characterizations of Sara and Gil were believable and the device of a keepsake box triggered memories of my own. (None so bad as Sara's, thankfully.) Well done.

And, just because this made me smile: "...he didn’t understand her passion for occasional pillows but if that was what she wanted, he’d back a truck up to Bed Bath and Beyond."

abuseThat was very moving. I especially like the way you described Grissom. His subtle support really helped Sara turn bad memories into good ones.

abuseMake me teary-why don't cha! LOL!

That was lovely-Gris is the man! He put Sara's treasures
in perspective-this was so real feeling I could almost see
my own "little treasures"!

Thanks for a great story!

abuseAh, a little cedar box full of wonderfulness. Very touching and it flows beautifully.

(But I'm with Grissom on the occasional pillows!)

abuseThis was cute. I loved it. I loved the whole idea of Things not being lost but just misplaced. I would find this perfectly believable for an actual episode. I hope they have something similar to this on the real show. Well, I implore you to keep writing awesome fics like this. I'll be on the look out!

Peace out, one love,
